Okke Batelaan

Okke Batelaan is a Strategic Professor in Hydrogeology at Flinders University since 2012, previously serving as Dean of the School of the Environment (2015–2017). He holds a PhD in Engineering from the Free University Brussels and an MSc in Hydrogeology from the Free University Amsterdam. His expertise spans groundwater hydrology, modelling, and integrated water resources management, with over 200 supervised students.
