Ojārs Spārītis is an art historian and Professor at the Latvian Academy of Arts, serving as head of the doctoral program and teaching courses in Theory of Styles, History of Latvian Art, and History of Applied Arts. He simultaneously holds the presidency of the Latvian Academy of Sciences, reflecting his dual leadership in academic and scientific institutions.
His educational trajectory includes:
