Professor Noreen Heraty is Head of the Department of Work and Employment Studies at the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick. With a career spanning decades, she has established herself as a leading authority in Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior, teaching across graduate, undergraduate, professional, and executive programs.
Her research focuses on critical workplace issues including ageism dynamics, generational employment challenges, post-retirement careers, workplace learning, and cross-national HRM trends. She co-directs the Age in the Workplace Research Network (AWR-net) and has contributed to the UN Sustainable Development Goals related to Quality Education and Decent Work.
Scientific awards include:
