Jean McCarthy is an Associate Professor in Organisational Behaviour at the Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick, and Adjunct Professor at the International University of Monaco. Her research focuses on age-diverse workforces, workplace prejudice, and sustainable workplaces.

Research Interests: Dr. McCarthy’s work explores the challenges of an ageing workforce, intergenerational dynamics, third-age entrepreneurship, and strategies for fostering inclusive workplaces. She leads the Age in the Workplace Research Network (AWR-net) and contributes to the Sloan Center on Aging & Work at Boston College.
