Nina Wormbs

Nina Wormbs is Professor in History of Technology at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Her research examines societal relationships with technology and environment through historical perspectives, analyzing how conceptions of technology influence policy and environmental responses.

She investigates climate change communication barriers, Arctic environmental narratives, and technological mediation of planetary data. Recent publications analyze psychological mechanisms of climate inaction and datafication in environmental governance.

Her work contributes to understanding slow sustainability transitions through historical contextualization of technology-environment interactions.
