Professor Nigel Adams is the Director of the Buckingham Enterprise and Innovation Unit (BEIU) at the University of Buckingham, leading initiatives to foster innovation and entrepreneurship across the university and regional community. He holds a BA (Hons) and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM) and Chartered Marketer. As a Professor in the Buckingham Business School, he teaches and mentors students in the BSc Business Enterprise (BBE) and MSc Entrepreneurial Consultancy & Practice (MECP) programs, integrating real-world business ventures into academic study.
- Leads BEIU’s strategic projects, including topological data analysis for fraud detection and mobile-learning initiatives for low-income communities.
- Managed a €2 million donation to develop enterprise programs like Enterprise for All and Entfest.
- Former Managing Director of Nigel Adams & Company Ltd (2002–2011), advising British firms on Central and Eastern European expansion.
Research focuses on venture creation programs, entrepreneurship education effectiveness, and international business strategies. Awards include the FCIM and Chartered Marketer status. Engages with local businesses and schools to promote enterprise culture, leveraging networks across academia and industry.
