Nicole Parsons serves as Associate Professor and Co-Director & Admissions Coordinator of the Program for Advancement of Learning (PAL) at Curry College, a pioneering initiative established in 1970 dedicated to accessibility, diversity, and inclusion for nontraditional undergraduate students.
Her academic credentials include:
- B.S. in Political Science from Suffolk University
- M.Ed. in Special Education from Salem State University
- Ed.D. in Educational Leadership in Higher Education from Endicott College
Dr. Parsons' research focuses on neurodiversity and the systemic challenges faced by hidden student populations, particularly campus exclusion, stigma, and how student backgrounds impact collegiate experiences. Her work provides evidence-based solutions to foster peer relationships and campus engagement while evaluating program effectiveness for learners with diverse cognitive styles.
As strategic leader of PAL, she oversees student recruitment and faculty development to advance the program's mission of empowering neurodiverse learners through tailored educational support systems.
