Nicola Walshe is Professor of Education and Pro-Director of Education at UCL Institute of Education (IOE). She leads the UCL Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability Education, developing professional resources for teachers.
Her research examines curriculum development for climate education, teacher practices in sustainability teaching, and student engagement with environmental issues. Walshe employs participatory approaches to explore how education can address climate challenges.
She co-chairs UCL's Research Ethics Committee and contributes to national education policy discussions on sustainability curricula.
