Nichole Bogarosh

Nichole Bogarosh is an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Communication Studies at Whitworth University. She holds a Ph.D. from Washington State University, an M.A. from Gonzaga University, and a BLS from Whitworth University. Her research focuses on media representations of marginalized groups, particularly through the lens of gender and popular culture, with additional interests in intercultural and interpersonal communication.

Her publications explore themes such as gender stereotypes in romantic comedies, feminist critiques of animated and action films, leadership representation in television, and age/gender portrayals in popular media. She has presented at national conferences including the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication and the National Popular Culture Association.
