Professor Nichola Callow is a renowned academic and leader in Sport Psychology at Bangor University, serving as Pro Vice-Chancellor (Education) since 2022. She holds a PhD and BSc from Bangor University and is a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society. Her research focuses on imagery in sport performance, leadership dynamics, and resilience, with translational emphasis on elite athletes and medical applications. She leads the North Wales Medical School and oversees teaching, student experience, and employability.

Recent projects include resilience-building through sport and interventions for rheumatology patients.
