Neil Bruce is a renowned Professor of Economics at the University of Washington, retiring after 25 years of service. He held the rank of tenured Professor since 1991 and served as Chair of the Department of Economics from 2001–2006. His research focuses on public finance, taxation, social security, and demographic aspects of economic policy. He co-authored influential papers on overlapping generations models and contributed to books like Public Finance and the American Economy.
