Natalie Brooke Higgins is an Assistant Professor of Horn at the University of Nevada, Reno’s School of Music. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory of Music and Dance, a Master of Music from George Mason University, and a Bachelor of Arts from UCLA. Her roles extend beyond academia to performance, education, and entrepreneurship, including co-founding the Alias Brass Company and BrassHaus Network.

Advising & Administration: Higgins has taught at Columbus State University Schwob School of Music (Assistant Professor) and Missouri Western State University (Adjunct Professor). She co-founded the Schwob Summer Music Festival and serves as Media Coordinator for the International Horn Competition of America.
Performance & Teams: A founding member of the Alias Brass Company and BrassHaus Network, she performs with ensembles like the National Symphony Orchestra and Rodney Marsalis Philadelphia Big Brass. She also leads educational initiatives through programs such as Sound Education for Resonate Learning.
