Professor Narelle Warren is a medical anthropologist and interdisciplinary health social scientist at Monash University, affiliated with the Department of Human Geography, Anthropology, and Development Studies within the Faculty of Arts. She specializes in ageing, chronic conditions, and care practices for vulnerable communities, with a focus on global public health, disability studies, and health systems research. Her work bridges academia, community organizations, and government to inform policy development. She has led or contributed to over 28 research projects, including initiatives on elder abuse, mitochondrial donation, and aged care volunteer programs. Her research also explores assistive technologies, feminist ethnography, and ethical frameworks in healthcare.
