Nabila Naeem is an NIHR Pre-Doctoral Research Fellow and Lecturer in Computer Science at Hassan College of Nursing and Health Sciences. She is currently pursuing an MSc in Applied Statistical Modelling and Health Informatics at King's College London's Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN), funded by the NIHR. Her academic affiliation includes the Department of Biostatistics & Health Informatics under the School of Mental Health & Psychological Sciences.
Education: BSc (Hons) in Computer Science with a minor in Statistics from Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Peshawar. She has completed supplementary courses in Python, Machine Learning, and Statistical Learning.
Research interests focus on precision medicine, prediction modelling, clustering techniques, topological data analysis, and AI applications in healthcare. Her work emphasizes solving real-world challenges like drug response prediction and disease prognosis through advanced statistical and machine learning methods. She also explores barriers and facilitators for clinical implementation of decision models.
Awards include first prize for her BSc project on a Smart Travel Guidance Application and the prestigious NIHR Pre-Doctoral Fellowship.
Professionally, she worked as a Data Analyst (Statistician) in the Health Department, applying statistical models and ML algorithms. She contributes to research publications and actively seeks to bridge computational methods with clinical practice.
