Lilla Szanto is a Research Fellow at King’s College London, affiliated with the Department of Biostatistics & Health Informatics within the School of Mental Health & Psychological Sciences at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN). She holds a BSc in Psychology from Royal Holloway, University of London, and an MSc in Applied Statistical Modelling and Health Informatics from King’s College London. Her current role as an NIHR Pre-Doctoral Research Fellow focuses on advancing methodologies in psychometrics and misophonia research.
Research interests include psychometrics, latent variable modeling, misophonia, and applications in psychological measurement, mathematical psychology, and social statistics. She contributes to the Psychometrics and Measurement Lab, which explores methodological advancements in these areas.

Her work integrates statistical modeling with health informatics, reflecting her interdisciplinary training and focus on translational research in mental health.
