Ace Taaca is a Research Fellow at King’s College London, affiliated with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN). Based in the School of Mental Health & Psychological Sciences and the Department of Biostatistics & Health Informatics, his work focuses on psychometrics and measurement methodologies. He holds an NIHR Pre-Doctoral Fellowship, combining an MSc in Advanced Statistical Modelling and Health Informatics with research on autism assessment in Asian populations.
Education: BSc Psychology (Hons), King’s College London (2019–2023). Research interests include autism, eating disorders, LGBTQ+ health epidemiology, and psychometric scale development. Collaborates with Dr. Vitoratou and Nora Uglik-Marucha on cross-cultural autism trait analysis, emphasizing acculturation effects in immigrant communities.
Lab affiliation: Psychometrics & Measurement Lab, which investigates psychometric methodologies and their applications in mental health research. Recent contributions include a 2023 study on auditory sensitivity in the UK population, highlighting sensory intolerance’s prevalence.
