Hin Long Adrian Mak is an NIHR Pre-Doctoral Research Fellow at King’s College London’s Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN), based in the Department of Biostatistics & Health Informatics. He completed his BSc Psychology (Hons) at King’s College London in 2023 and worked as a placement student in the Psychometrics and Measurement Lab (2021-2022). His research focuses on misophonia, psychometric scale development, and statistical modeling in mental health.
Adrian’s current fellowship involves pursuing an MSc in Advanced Statistical Modelling and Health Informatics while conducting research on misophonia’s correlates and relationships with auditory/mental health disorders under Dr. Vitoratou’s supervision. He also serves as a teaching assistant for the ‘Introduction to Applied Statistical Methods’ course.
He is affiliated with the Psychometrics and Measurement Lab, which specializes in psychometric methodology, psychological measurement, and social statistics. The lab recently contributed to a £7M UKPRP-funded consortium addressing violence’s health impacts.
