Mukul Laad

Mukul Laad is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Mathematical Sciences (IMSc) in India, specializing in Theoretical Condensed Matter Physics. His research focuses on strange metallicity, correlated electron systems, spin/orbital liquids, and advanced electronic structure techniques.

• Breakdown of perturbation theory near Mott criticality
• Superconductivity in Fe-arsenides and Dirac/Weyl semimetals

He has held fellowships at MPIPKS Dresden, Universität zu Köln, and Loughbrough University. Over 4 years, he has taught courses in Condensed Matter Physics and Mathematical Physics at IMSc.
