Mouna Knani is an Associate Professor at the Department of Human Resources Management, HEC Montréal. She holds a Ph.D. in Administration (specialized in Human Resources Management) from Université Laval, a Master's in Management from Université Laval, and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Université de Moncton. Her research focuses on presenteeism, workplace health, employee well-being, and the impact of artificial intelligence in hospitality and tourism.
Her recent publications explore determinants of presenteeism in SMEs, AI applications in tourism, and organizational constraints in healthcare. She has supervised 26 projects and 3 master's theses, including studies on leadership's role in mediating burnout and the impact of remote work during the pandemic.
Her teaching includes courses on workplace health and safety practices, and she collaborates with organizations like SAQ and CIUSSS to improve employee well-being strategies.
