Monisha Sharma

Dr. Monisha Sharma is an Associate Professor in the Department of Global Health at the University of Washington (UW), with adjunct appointments in Epidemiology and Pharmacy. She is affiliated with the School of Public Health and School of Medicine, and her work spans mathematical modeling, cost-effectiveness analyses, and HIV prevention strategies in Eastern and Southern Africa.

Dr. Sharma’s publications highlight cost-effectiveness analyses of HIV testing strategies, cervical cancer screening in Lebanon, and critical care challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic. Her work integrates mathematical modeling with health economics to address global public health issues.
