Monica Di Rosa is a Sessional Instructor in the Faculty of Humanities at Mount Royal University. She holds a PhD Candidate status at the University of Calgary, alongside a Diploma of Latin Palaeography, Diplomatic Studies and Archival Science from the State Archive of Bologna (2015), an MA from the University of Bologna (2015), and a BA from the University of Palermo (2012). Her research focuses on Greek/Roman and Medieval history/culture/literature, social and family history across these periods, classical epigraphy, and the transmission of classical texts into medieval/Renaissance Europe.
She teaches courses such as HUMN 2219 (Ancient Greece) and CLASS 1111 (Technical Terms of Medicine and the Life Sciences). Her office is located in EA3020B.
