Cecilia Sideri is a Senior Researcher and Assistant Professor at the Centre for the Study of the Renaissance, University of Warwick, holding a Marie Curie-UKRI Guarantee postdoctoral fellowship (2023–2025). She teaches Italian Palaeography and contributes to the MA Renaissance Culture core course, and in the academic year 2024–2025, she convenes the STVDIO Seminar series.

Research Interests: Her research focuses on the reception of Greek and Latin texts in the Renaissance and 19th century, the manuscript transmission of Latin classics in the Renaissance, the history of the book in the 15th and 16th centuries, Latin and Italian palaeography (15th–16th century), translation studies, and textual scholarship. Her current project investigates the influence of Greek texts on Italian vernacular culture in 15th-century Florence, with results published in a work-in-progress database (October 2024).
