Dr. Renan Baker is a historian and philologist affiliated with the University of Cambridge's History Faculty and Lucy Cavendish College, where he serves as a Tutor and Director of Studies. His research spans global history, focusing on the Ancient World's chronology, reception of Classics, and financial history. A British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow, Baker's interdisciplinary work bridges ancient and early medieval studies with modern diplomatic history and investment management.
- Education: DPhil in Classics (University of Oxford), MA in Classics (Tel Aviv University), with additional studies in linguistics and Jewish History.
