Mon Ohn

Mon Ohn is a Research Fellow at The University of Western Australia's UWA Medical School and Institute for Paediatric Perioperative Excellence. He holds dual roles as a Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Physician at Perth Children’s Hospital and a Research Fellow at The Kids Research Institute Australia (Telethon Kids Institute). His work focuses on pediatric obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), with emphasis on screening methods, early-life predictors, and technological innovations like AI integration and wrist-worn oximetry devices. Recent research includes longitudinal cohort studies (Raine Study) and clinical trials evaluating anesthetic safety in children.

Key contributions include advancing OSA diagnostic accuracy through biomarkers and device validation, as well as investigating perioperative respiratory risks. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals related to good health and well-being.
