Dr. Moira Dunsmore is a Senior Lecturer in the Susan Wakil School of Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Sydney's Faculty of Medicine and Health. Her work focuses on population/public health, social determinants of health, and health policy, with a specialization in dual sensory impairment (DSI) in older adults. She holds a PhD from the University of Sydney and has extensive post-doctoral research experience, including collaborations with institutions like Vision Australia and Macquarie University. Her current projects include co-chairing the international Dual-SIG research group and leading grants on aged care frameworks and DSI interventions.

Research Interests: Dual sensory impairment in aging populations, social capital and stigma in aging, co-design of health/social care integration, and policy advocacy for DSI recognition.
