Peter Simcock is an Associate Professor of Social Work at Birmingham City University (BCU), where he leads the Deafblind UK Centre for Education and Research—the first UK center dedicated to connecting researchers, practitioners, and individuals living with deafblindness to advance knowledge and leadership in the field. His career spans academic and practice roles, including positions at Age Concern Hull, Wolverhampton City Council, and Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council.
