Professor Keith Brown is Director of Bournemouth University's National Centre for Post-Qualifying Social Work and Professional Practice (NCPQSW). His work focuses on mental capacity law, safeguarding vulnerable populations, and preventing financial fraud against elderly and dementia patients. The Centre trains 25% of the UK's Approved Mental Health Professionals and produces critical guidance documents like the national safeguarding framework for adults (updated in 2014).
