Mohammed Saad is a Professor of Innovation and Technology Management at the Bristol Business School within the University of the West of England's Faculty of Business and Law. He holds a PhD in Technology Management, complemented by an MSc in Operational Research, Diploma in Management Studies, and a Degree in Economics. His research focuses on knowledge exchange, university roles in innovation systems, SME capacity-building, and sustainable development, with interdisciplinary links to operations management and global policy.
Saad leads an active research team investigating systems of innovation and founded the COSINUS network. He has secured over £1 million in research funding since 1999, including Horizon 2020 projects on sustainable public procurement and initiatives supporting SMEs. His collaborations span Oracle Corporation, BP, and international bodies like the Association of Commonwealth Universities.
Saad co-edits the International Journal of Technology Management and Sustainable Development and has organized five international conferences.
