Mitchell Cohen is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronic Production and Design (EPD) at Berklee College of Music, where he contributes to the education of future music technologists and electronic producers.
His expertise lies at the intersection of music and technology, with a strong focus on electronic production, sound design, and digital workflow optimization. He teaches courses related to music technology and encourages students to view technology as a creative tool. His philosophy emphasizes that efficient workflow enhances inspiration and artistic output.
Career highlights include composing and restoring audio for the short film Retail Blues, co-producing the track "Lil Holy" by WHATUPRG, which garnered over 1.3 million Spotify plays and charted at No. 7 on iTunes' Hip-Hop and Rap charts, and collaborating on "Radhe Shyam Vibrations" with DJ Mantra, featuring John de Kadt and Grammy-nominated Dave Stringer.
