Mischa Zupko serves as an Adjunct Lecturer in Musicianship at DePaul University's School of Music, teaching Musicianship I, II, and III. He maintains concurrent teaching positions at Roosevelt University and Trinity Christian College, and holds composer-in-residence appointments with Fulcrum Point New Music Project (2010-2011) and the Music Institute of Chicago where he directs the Composers’ Lab program for young composers. Additionally, he directs the music program at the Lutheran Church of the Ascension in Northfield, IL.

Zupko's compositional work defines contemporary classical music through innovative orchestral and chamber works, evidenced by commissions from the Minnesota Orchestra and Pacific Symphony. His cross-disciplinary approach extends to commercial projects including film scoring for Cortina Productions' Indiana State Museum exhibit and musical demos for the Lilly Company, demonstrating versatility across artistic and applied music domains.
