Mirosław Pachowicz is an assistant professor at the Instrumental Department of the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where he teaches bassoon, chamber music, and specialized subjects. He earned distinctions in both his bachelor's (2008) and master's (2011) programs at the same institution, with his thesis supervised by Prof. Marek Podhajski. Under the Socrates-Erasmus program, he studied at Erasmushogeschool – Koninklijk Conservatorium in Brussels under Prof. Luc Loubry.
- Artistic Career: Principal bassoonist of the Polish Baltic Philharmonic (2007–2022), toured internationally with orchestras, and performed concertos by Mozart, Vivaldi, and Jolivet
- Ensembles: Co-founder of the Gdańsk Reed Trio (active since 2013), winner of international competitions, and collaborator with Simultaneo vocal ensemble
His research and performance focus spans music performance, chamber music, and artistic collaboration, with notable revivals of works like Panufnik's Concerto for Bassoon and Moss's Musique Élégiaque. He initiated the concert series Music of Europe in the Church of the Polish Community of Gdańsk and revived the bassoon class at F. Chopin State Music School in Olsztyn (2019–present).
