Miroslav Beblavý

Miroslav Beblavý is an adjunct professor at the Hertie School in Berlin and Sciences Po in Paris. He is also a Slovak investor, startup founder, economist, and former politician with extensive experience in public affairs and research.

• Current roles: CEO of CB ESPRI (impact investment fund) and Zhiva (behavioral health startup)
• Former Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for European Policy Studies (2010-2019)
• Ex-MP of the National Council of Slovakia (three terms) and State Secretary at the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Family

His research and teaching focus on welfare state dynamics, public economics, and policy analysis. He bridges academic expertise with practical applications in impact investment and behavioral health technology sectors.
