Robert C. Pozen is a Senior Lecturer at MIT Sloan School of Management and a non-resident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution. He has held leadership roles in business, government, and academia, including executive chairman of MFS Investment Management and Secretary of Economic Affairs for Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney.

Pozen’s research focuses on financial systems, productivity optimization, public policy, and ESG disclosures. His work analyzes corporate governance, investor relations, and macroeconomic policy impacts.
His recent publications and media contributions examine fiscal policy, trade tariffs, ESG standards, and remote work productivity. Notable works include Extreme Productivity (2012) and The Fund Industry (2015).
