Miriam Liss is a Professor of Psychological Science at the University of Mary Washington, where she has served since earning her Ph.D. in clinical psychology (University of Connecticut, 2001). Her research spans feminism, body image, parenting dynamics, and work-family balance, alongside clinical topics like autism, sensory processing sensitivity, and self-injurious behaviors. She co-authored Balancing the Big Stuff and a forthcoming textbook on the Psychology of Women.
