Carey Dowling

Carey Dowling is a Teaching Professor of Psychology at the University of Mississippi, affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts and the Department of Psychology. Her research focuses on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), strategies to promote undergraduate student success, parenting interventions for behavioral issues, and optimal development in children and families.

Dr. Dowling’s research integrates SoTL with developmental psychology. Her work emphasizes empirically backed teaching frameworks and family-centered interventions.
