Dr. Min Kim is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the National University of Singapore (NUS Business School). He holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Maryland (2020), an MSc in Agricultural and Resource Economics (2014) and an MA in Economics (2012), both from the University of Maryland. His research focuses on platform economies, digital retailing, personalisation systems, and firm competitions, employing advanced methodologies like machine learning and Bayesian inferences.
Teaching interests include Marketing Analytics, Machine Learning applications in marketing, and research methods. He has taught courses such as 'Research for Marketing Insights' at NUS Business School and 'Marketing Research Methods' at the University of Maryland. His work bridges substantive marketing challenges with computational methods, contributing to understanding complex systems and emerging digital retail dynamics.
Dr. Kim has published in top journals like the Journal of Marketing Research, Review of Industrial Organization, and Economics Letters.
