This cross-disciplinary approach manifests in his pedagogical framework and performance practice.
His accolades include:
- Grammy Award (2021) for 'The Prison' with Experiential Orchestra
As an educator, Sasaki mentors students from beginner to collegiate levels through Juilliard’s Music Advancement Program, Little Orchestra Society, Usdan Summer Camp for the Arts, and Juilliard Precollege. His summer commitments include faculty roles at Mostly Modern Festival and Atlantic Brass Quintet Summer Seminar, focusing on brass pedagogy and ensemble development.
Performance collaborations define his artistic identity, featuring engagements with yMusic, Chamber Music Northwest, Paragon Ragtime Orchestra, and multiple symphonies (Austin, Hawaii, Phoenix, Richmond, San Antonio), alongside Broadway productions like 'Matilda' and contemporary projects with Contemporaneous and LA Philharmonic.
