Mike von Massow is a Professor in the Department of Food Agricultural and Resource Economics at the Ontario Agricultural College (OAC), University of Guelph. His research focuses on consumer behavior in food systems, including labeling, novel products, animal welfare, antibiotic use, and food waste. He co-leads the Guelph Food Waste Research Project and is active in the Campbell Centre for the Study of Animal Welfare. His interdisciplinary work bridges academia and industry, informed by prior roles in agri-food operations, management consulting, and policy research.
