Alfons Weersink is a Professor at the University of Guelph's Ontario Agricultural College, specializing in Agricultural Economics and Policy. He holds a B.Sc. (1982), M.Sc. (1984), and Ph.D. (1989) in Agricultural Economics from the University of Guelph, Montana State University, and Cornell University, respectively. His research focuses on agri-food policy, environmental impacts of farming, and technological innovation in agriculture.
