Michiel Balvers

Dr. Michiel Balvers is a senior scientist at the Division of Human Nutrition and Health at Wageningen University and Research (WUR), specializing in nutritional biomarker analysis. His work focuses on developing bioanalytical methods to study nutrient metabolism, absorption, and inflammation. He holds expertise in mass spectrometry, fatty acids, and vitamin research. Balvers also coordinates laboratories and supervises PhD and MSc students.
