Dr. Michele Maccari is a fixed-term Researcher at the Department of Economic and Business Sciences, University of Parma. His work focuses on sustainable agrifood systems, international cooperation, and value chain development. He contributes to second-cycle degrees in Economics and Management of Sustainable Food Systems and Sustainable Food Environment.
- Research Interests: Sustainable agriculture, agroecology, and international cooperation in agrifood sectors.
- Teaching: Courses on sustainable agrifood value chains (2023–2025) and sustainability management in Cabo Verde (2024).
Publications highlight his expertise in upscaling organic/agroecological systems, participatory guarantee systems, and EU-LAFSs policy frameworks. Research spans Argentina, Italy, and Cabo Verde case studies.
