Rosalia Filippini is a Researcher at the Department of Economics and Management, University of Parma, with a focus on agricultural economics and sustainable food systems. She holds a Joint PhD from Scuola Sant'Anna (Pisa) and AgroParisTech (France) and a cum laude degree in Economics from the University of Parma.

Her research spans agro-ecological systems, rural development, and food security, with projects including:

- AGRICORE: Sustainability of peri-urban agriculture
- BIOREGIONE: Local food systems through collective consumption
- DIVERCROP: Land system dynamics and species diversity
- OpenAgri: Skills for peri-urban agriculture
Recent publications highlight her work on agent-based modeling for EU rural policies, food chain hybridization, and comparative analysis of dairy farms. Her teaching includes courses on Food Policy, Market Economics, and Thesis Writing in the Master’s program in Economics and Management of Sustainable Food Environment.
