Maria Cecilia Mancini is a full Professor at the Department of Economic and Business Sciences, University of Parma. Her work focuses on agri-food systems, geographical indications, sustainability, and consumer behavior through extensive European research projects like FOOD IMPROV’IDERS and AGRICORE.

Her research spans sustainable food chains, animal welfare policies, and consumer acceptance of novel foods, including culturing meat. Teaching assignments include courses on food quality systems at the University of Parma and guest lectures in Germany, France, and Poland.
