Mario Veneziani is an Associate Professor in Agri-food Economics at the Department of Economics and Management, University of Parma, Italy. He teaches courses such as 'Economics of Agri-food Networks' in English for the International Economics track and 'Economic and Regulatory Aspects of Biotechnologies' in Italian for the Biotechnologies Bachelor's program. He is actively engaged in multidisciplinary research spanning agricultural policy modeling, sustainability, market power analysis, and experimental economics.

His research focuses on integrating empirical methods like micro-econometrics and mathematical programming with policy analysis. Mario participates in EU Horizon 2020 projects including AGRICORE and Strength2Food, contributing to policy coherence and sustainability in agri-food systems. His office hours are held weekly at the Department of Economics and Management, Via J.F. Kennedy, Parma.
