Michael Sartor is an Assistant Professor at the Smith School of Business, Queen's University. His research and teaching focus on international business, global strategy, and the impact of corruption on multinational enterprises (MNEs). He holds a PhD, MBA, JD, and BA from prestigious institutions including Ivey Business School and Queen's University.

Research Interests: Dr. Sartor explores how corruption influences MNE strategies and performance, with a focus on emerging markets. His work also addresses corporate social performance, anti-corruption policies, and subsidiary exit strategies. His articles appear in top journals like the Journal of International Business Studies and Journal of Business Ethics.
Awards & Recognition: Recipient of the Buckley and Casson AIB Doctoral Dissertation Award, AIB-Sheth Best Proposal Award, and Udayan Rege Best Dissertation Award. Also recognized for teaching excellence via the Cornell-Queen’s Executive MBA Professor of the Year Award.
Professional Contributions: Serves on editorial boards for business journals, reviews manuscripts, and is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and international business academies. Co-edited case studies for China’s business education market.
Prior Experience: Ten years in corporate legal and executive roles in telecom and consumer goods sectors. Previously an Adjunct Research Professor at Ivey Business School.
