Michael Nason is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at Minot State University, with over 20 years of academic and law enforcement experience. He holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Criminal Justice from Minot State University and serves as a licensed peace officer and law enforcement instructor in North Dakota.
His professional background spans 15 years as a Special Agent with the North Dakota Bureau of Criminal Investigation (NDBCI), 5 years as Police Officer/Detective with Bismarck Police Department, and leadership roles as administrative Captain with Ward County Sheriff's Department. He has provided critical law enforcement training at the North Dakota Law Enforcement Training Academy.
