Melissa Taylor is an Associate Professor (Nursing) at the School of Nursing and Midwifery, University of Southern Queensland (Ipswich Campus). With a clinical background in acute care and executive management, her research focuses on aged, palliative, and end-of-life care, workforce capability, clinical education, and health policy analysis.
- Co-leader of the Australia and New Zealand Aged, Palliative and End of Life Care (ANZAPEL) research team
- Member of the Australian College of Nursing Policy Chapter and West Moreton Region Care at End of Life Collaborative
Melissa’s research explores health literacy, dementia management practices, aged care careers, student integration, and pandemic-era end-of-life care policy changes. She employs mixed methodologies and qualitative research approaches.
