Dr Joyce Muge is a Lecturer in the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Edith Cowan University (ECU), concurrently serving as International Academic Coordinator to support international nursing students. She holds a PhD from ECU (2022) and a Master of Health Management from Murdoch University (2012). With 15+ years of clinical experience in acute care, midwifery, gerontology, and nursing education, her research focuses on gerontology (dementia, multicultural aging), nursing education challenges, and palliative care access for immigrants. She leads a 2024-2026 research project on syringe drivers in end-of-life care.
