Melissa Mowle

Melissa Mowle is a Lecturer in Nursing at the School of Health, Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of New England (UNE), Australia. She is actively involved in nursing education with a focus on rural healthcare practice.

Research and Professional Interests: Melissa's expertise lies in rural emergency nursing, palliative care, aged care, radiography, and nurse immunisation. Her background in multipurpose rural health services provides a strong foundation for teaching nursing students about the diverse challenges and rewards of rural nursing practice.

Her training includes a Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing, Principles of Emergency Nursing, Limited Licence Radiography, remote radiography licensing, and certification as a nurse immuniser. These qualifications enhance her ability to deliver practical, real-world nursing education.
