Melissa N. Morris is an Associate Professor of History at the University of Wyoming's Department of History. Her research focuses on early America and the Atlantic World, particularly cross-cultural interactions, plant-driven European expansion, and colonial failures in the Americas. She holds a PhD in History from Columbia University (2017) and previously taught at Bridgewater State University.
